The Quran states that two massive tribes of beasts (Gog and Magog) were and will continue until the Day of Judgement to be trapped behind a massive wall of Iron erected by Dhul-Qarnayn. According to the Qur'an, these two tribes were trapped by Dhul-Qarnayn behind this metal wall and will only be let free on the day of Judgement. However, no such wall or tribes have ever been found despite the advent of global satellite imagery.
Le Coran déclare que deux immenses tribus de créatures Gog et Magog (''Yajuj'' et ''Majuj'') ont été et resteront piégées jusqu'au Jour du Jugement derrière un mur colossal de fer érigé par Dhul-Qarnayn. Selon le Coran, ces deux tribus ont été enfermées par Dhul-Qarnayn derrière ce mur métallique et ne seront libérées que le Jour du Jugement. Cependant, aucun mur ni aucune tribu de ce genre n’ont jamais été découverts, malgré l’avènement des images satellites mondiales.

A story in the Qur'an, drawing on Jewish folklore, states that Solomon commanded a massive army comprised of 'Jinns and men and birds'. Solomon is described as speaking with a Hoopoe bird and thereafter desiring to execute the bird when it is tardy to his assembly. The Hoopoe bird, it is then revealed, was only delayed because it had been spying on a beautiful female ruler, Queen Sheba, who Solomon subsequently insists is misguided and must be conquered. At this point, Solomon assigns a Jinn from his assembly the task of stealing Queen Sheba's magnificent throne. There is, however, no scientific evidence that Jinn exist, that birds can be commanded as soldiers, or that birds can engage in elaborate conversations with humans.
Une histoire du Coran, s'inspirant du folklore juif, affirme que Salomon commandait une immense armée composée de "djinns, d'hommes et d'oiseaux". Salomon est décrit comme parlant à une huppe et souhaitant ensuite exécuter l'oiseau pour son retard à l'assemblée. Il est alors révélé que la huppe n'était en retard que parce qu'elle espionnait une belle souveraine, la reine de Saba, que Salomon estime égarée et qu'il juge nécessaire de conquérir. À ce moment-là, Salomon confie à un djinn de son assemblée la tâche de voler le magnifique trône de la reine de Saba. Cependant, il n'existe aucune preuve scientifique que les djinns existent, que des oiseaux puissent être commandés comme des soldats ou qu'ils puissent tenir des conversations élaborées avec des humains.

The Quran presents a version of the Biblical tale in which Jonah is swallowed by a whale ('the big Fish') and then lives in the whale for some time while praying. Scientific research, however, suggests that a person could not persist long inside a whale's digestive tract and, if not crushed by the whale or by water pressure, would almost immediately suffocate.  
Le Coran relate une version de l'histoire biblique où Jonas est avalé par une baleine (« le grand poisson ») et y demeure un certain temps tout en priant. Cependant, les recherches scientifiques suggèrent qu'une personne ne pourrait pas survivre longtemps à l'intérieur du système digestif d'une baleine et, si elle n'était pas écrasée par la baleine ou la pression de l'eau, suffoquerait presque immédiatement.
